The Drei Zinnen/ Three Peaks region (also known as the Tre Cime di Lavaredo) is part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage site, recognised for its exceptional beauty and geological significance.
It is in the northeastern part of the Italian Alps on the border with Austria and named after the three iconic and highly recognisable peaks (Cima Grande, Cima Piccola and Cima Ovest) towering over the charming villages of Sesto, San Candido/ Innichen and Versciaco.
The area, part of the Dolomiti Superski consortium, is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing in winter and hiking and climbing in summer.
The Drei Zinnen ski region is one of the 12 ski resorts in the Dolomiti Superski ski area, and it covers 5 locations/ villages as well as 5 connected mountains for a total of 115Km of perfectly groomed runs (12km black, 50km red, 53km blue) ideal for plenty of fun out and about in the snow.
