Grand Hotel Bagni Nuovi - Ski Accommodation

Opened in 1836, this luxury hotel is a significant example of the liberty style of architecture. There's 74 bright and spacious rooms, each finely furnished and most of their bathrooms equipped with a hydro-massage bath with thermal water and chromo therapy system. The spa centre of the hotel has more than 30 different indoor and outdoor thermal facilities, all easily accessible from the rooms.

Situated as part of the Bagni di Bormio Spa Resort, the Grand Hotel Bagni Nuovi and the Spa & Wellness centre are surrounded by a garden reserved exclusively for guests. This is situated in a larger zone of 40 hectares known as Parco Monumentale (Monumental Park) with 8km of footpaths amongst a beautiful pine forest, suitable for walking and jogging.

The guests of the hotel may also visit the Spa Bagni Vecchi located inside the Monumental Park.

Each of the rooms are unique.The furnishings and the charm of a bygone era mix with the comfort of todays technology such as mini-bar, safe-box, tea and coffee making facilities and satellite TV with LCD screen.

Comfort: standard room with panoramic view of the valley or the mountains, bathrooms in white marble from Carrara equipped with hydro-massage baths with thermal water.

Junior Suite: superior room with seating area, panoramic view of the valley or the mountains, bathrooms in white marble from Carrara equipped with hydro-massage baths with thermal water.

Royal Suite: designed for the visit of Vittorio Emanuele III King of Italy in 1917, as used at that time, this suite is one large room subdivided by Corinthian columns. Two bathrooms, one modern, the second conserving the original pink marble bath from Candoglia, complete the suite.

There are two restaurants - Ristorante Salone dei Balli and Light Café – plus Ugo's Café, an elegant bar perfect for afternoon tea and after-dinner drinks.
